Yeah, Aztecs and Germans are the worst 1v1 civ period. Their (only) merit comes in team NR games because they have a ton of good team cards and you have other people with the cannons and cavalry that you don't have.

I've been trying to get a 2 player puma rush on any standard map. Here's the latest. 20 pumas, 5 coyotes, warrior priest, war chief and outlaw built at 4:20. 5 more pumas are almost in the screen shot. Dead TC at 5:12. Started with 300 food which is the hardest because it's hard to age up fast with less food. Aztec could have built a vill with extra food at start. Aztecs have 2 shipments. 3 team vills and 5 vill means good. The otto got a house and 3 vill shipment so he never stopped making vills.

Turks are good slingers but Dutch are better! Same army - 4:03! TC dead at 4:47. By the way, this was done with the worst possible starting resources - 300 food, 200 wood and 100 gold.

I figured the Dutch Might be better for this one because the wood is not as essential and they have an easier time getting the gold required. The extra vill or two they get early has really gotta help that age up time a lot.

Post patch, the Turks seem to be the best slingers now. The 2 man puma rush is about 30 secs sooner (3:30). Then, the Turks can get to the third age by 6:30. Get 2 Falconets at 7:10. Then, the poor little pumas are not as fearful of LI. TC was DED before most can get to age 2. (I merely observed and advised - no tribute.) img36537.pictiger.com/images/14942814/][/url]

Fucked. No civ ages up by 4:09 ever... maybe the Natives but don't have MM so I would lose nothing. I also think that one could have been 10 seconds faster since I started building pumas a bit late. Also, did you see the Coyotes running in RIGHT as the TC fell? The timing doesn't get much better than that. And for those who don't know, this is a two man, not three man puma. D was just in the game to observe/coach.

Is this going to be a who can get to the third age first contest? Actually, this system is tied to a shipment that is hastened by a mosque xp. But you need your mosque up for 2 mins (not 1:59 - it's incremental like TPs not coin trickle) to get enough xp. So, 2:25 is when the shipment is available (5 sec to uncrate 100 wood, 20 seconds to build, plus 2 minutes). The 300 gold arrives at 2:55. You need to uncrate it, finish your first batch of pumas. 30 seconds later you have another batch. 3:30 is it. Don't see how you can take another 10 seconds off with this method.
If you don't collect your intial resources (except 100 food), a rare Turk can age up by 4:00. But he won't have MM resources unless he was really lucky with treasures.

After losing our first 3 games with the new strat, Tim and I just beat a captain and a colonel. The captain got fucked in the ass and lost his TC at 4 mins and stayed at 7 vills until 10:30. Although they made a great comeback, Yellow's Revolution failed so we beat them in over an hour. Absolutely Crazy!
