Umm yeah the Aztec kick ass. The skull warrior is so awesome! On top of that their warrior priest can dance on the pit and its 100% more effective then the villager! Try them out.

The Aztecs also kick ass because they can take out a town center before any other civ in the game... as for their late game, they really suck because they have no way of dealing with arty and light inf. A skull knight, orp, bombard, and ruyter combo would be pretty fun though!

The more I play these guys the more I'm starting to love them. I played around with archer knights in the last couple of games... and those guys really kick ass. They can seige a building from a range of 30 I think and they have no set up time and can even blast away infantry from HUGE range. They are like the longbows of Ages II only they do better against buildings! Also, eagle runner knights are amazing as well. They are almost exactly equal to cavalry archers, only they are ONE pop, not two! In addition to some HP and Attack cards for all knights, I have a card that gives all eagle knights 4 extra range meaning they have a range of 22 and are good against cav! Holy crap! These guys are NO ruyter but they make up for it with all that range. Hells yeah baby. Warrior priests are a great way to man the fire pit without wasting peasants too.

Actually, aztecs have one of the best late games, with the right cards, they have SO MANY cards that increase their units attack and HP that it just annoying to list them all. PLUS they have so many fucking econ upgrades. Eagle runners are probably my favorite unit, its just they have low hp but a fuck load of damage. Actually, rams are still my favorite unit.

D, I saw a few hours ago that I had a missed call from you. I'll try to give you a ring tomorrow before the Monadnock concert. I don't know how much Tim told you about that but it starts at 4 at Keene High School if you are done working at that point.

Yea, but the Turk didn't build bombards or spahi's. The Turk was using hussars to raid rather than the russian using orps. Sounds like real noobs to me. B and I own in no rush russian/turk combo's.

The Spahi shipment is not as effetive for NR games because the shipment only comes once. Why the fuck would he build them against Ruyters and Jaguars anyway? He also tried the Hussar thing because the turks have RG hussars with many upgrades that can give them 600-700 HP and 50 attack which is more than orps for killing units. He didn't build bombards because we had spies and the factories were in the back of his base... they also would have gotten pwned by my arrow knights and Tims ruyters. And these guys were NOT noobs. Each has played 200-300 treaty games and each has a 80% win. If that's not a noob I dunno what is? Also, the Russian DID play another game after we won ours and lost again. The point is (and this IS a challenge)... no one can beat Me and Tim in a NR 40. Yeah, bring it.

just the fact that it was treaty ruins all your credibility no one is going to beat you because they will all be asleep before the time runs out.

Some guy on ages heaven actually posted a decent question. Why the fuck play no rush games, when you can just play deathmatch games.... does anyone wanna answer that?
Why take 40 minutes to do something it takes 5 minutes to.
Deathmatch starting in hte post imperial age.

Treaty takes tons of skill and makes you a more well rounded player rather than the people who can only play 1v1 supremacy and do nothing else other than that. There is skill in building a deck and exectuting it properly while building a base and managing your resources efficiently. People do NOT have the same amout of resources in treaty when it starts, and the foundation of the strategy is in the deck. However, people who are ignorant to its uniqueness wouldn't understand that. It's a different type of game, just like 1v1. Why play 1v1 when you could play rock paper scissors (rush, turtle, boom) and calculate the winner in 5 seconds? Duh, people execute it entirely differently... quit crying and learn how to play more than one type of game.

haha looks like ben got kinda angry when i bashed his noob kinda game. It takes no skill what so ever. It takes more skill to win with 20 units than it does to win with 100, if you think that running orps into the back of an ottomans base takes skill, well then, i dont know what to tell you. it takes skill to build up your economy while defeating the opponent. Not sitting around KNOWING your not going to be attacked.
No rush = noob. it wasnt what the game was designed for.

And you still didnt answer my question. Why play treaty when you can play death match. You still get to make decks, you still have to build up your economy. You just od it a lot faster than you would in a no rush.
Oh and in 1v1 and other non noob type games, you need to micro. No rush= no micro
