Look at it this way, John McCain is affected by the housing crisis 7 times as much as the rest of us.

I don't know why, maybe someone can advise me, but I have only been able to join one game online (against a Lt Cor which I declined.) I have no virus program and the 8 port switch is out.
Can you imagine a Lt Cor playing a concript!

Welcome to Providence College. That's very strange... I think your internet in general in unhappy. Have you been able to get multiple people on the network yet?

I started out thinking I would try to get muliple internet users. Then, Tim's desktop crashed. I first thought Tim had a keyboard or mouse problem but now it seems to be the motherboard. The good news is I found a motherboard for under $50.
Next my office laptop had problems shutting down, It would take 10 minutes to go into safe mode and then shut down with a quick (unreadable) error message. I tried unsucessfully twice to do a system restore with different dates, Both times it said it was unable to do the restore but some how trying the system restore fixed the problem, WTF?
Before I order a new motherboard for Tim's desktop, I'm going to try and reinstall Windows. The hard drive is now 16% formatted. Don't talk to me for a while. I'm just a little pissed.
It's also supposed to snow every day for the next week. Damn I love Michigan in the winter-wrong!

I'd be willing to bet that I am more pissed. I didn't get the Liberty Mutual Job. Fuck my life.

aw, poor ben Well, the good news anyway is I got my computer back. Well, I don't think it was my original computer. Asus gave me a new LCD screan, a new key board, complete with the original ctrl button place! They gave me a new touch pad and a new shell around the actually computer. I think they may have gotten me a new computer and just replaced my harddrive and stuff. Laff..

Actually, Pcups, they were during themselves a favor. It's a lot easier to put your hard drive in a new computer than take yours apart and back together again. Glad to hear it's back. We missed your "insight!"
I got all three computers working flawlessly here. I was even able to play Silent Hunter III on Tim's desktop. Reloading the software solved the problems.

Could someone tell me which file I need to change to increase my home town levels and get all the cards available, please?

Go into ages 3 and create level 1 home cities for all of the home cities that you want. Save all of the cities and quit out of ages 3.
Then, in windows, go here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Timothy Lannin\My Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\Savegame
(NOT ...\Age of Empires 3\homecity) It probably won't be "Timothy lannin" but rather whatever you username is.
Open up a homecity file (such as sp_Istanbul_homecity.xml) in a text editor (notepad).
modify the three following parameters:
<level>#</level>
Replace whatever # is with 222 (or whatever level you want your HC to be. just make sure its above 40 so you will be able to choose your upper level cards)
<skillpoints>#</skillpoints>
Replace this # with 222. I'm not sure exactly what it does. I think it is the number of points you have available with which to choose new cards.
<numpropunlocksearned>#</numpropunlocksearned>
Replace this number with 222. I think is the total number of cards you have unlocked. Whatever it is, set it to 222.
Save modified xml file with the same name as the old file (thus replacing the old file), and start up ages 3.
Go to the homecities and you should have enough free cards to select all of the new cards. Hold down enter and click on all of the new cards. (Holding down enter saves time by flying through the useless "are you sure you want to pick this card" box.)

Well, it looks like it might be the end of them.
“We have had before us this whole question of the viability of the American automobile manufacturers. None of us want to see them go down, but very few of us had anything to do with the dilemma that they have created for themselves.”
Normally, I am always up for a bit of socialism and helping hands, but not when stupidity is involved.
I'm happy the Republicans blocked it but not happy for the reason they blocked it. They wanted to cut union wages and such. That conservative bullshit is what got us into this mess in the first place. The deregulation of maintenance and the financial system.
Hey Ben, if a GM CEO cuts his salary, which is 25 million, and cuts all of his understudy's salaries, do you think he can save his business?
