Yeah it takes you down a couple of notches but you can get right back up if you don't use it too much. You got to find the right balance.

And so I officially played two games last night. The first was a quick search game against a lvl 27 captain who used his 80 Britts against my level 8 Russians. I though I had the little bitch until his longbowmen managed to stop my orp raid, and his booming economy came in and cleaned me out. It was really the HC levels that did it. After that, I played a normal game against a dutch in carolina. As you might imagine, that is just screaming RUSH RUSH RUSH to me... which I did at about 4 minutes. His 3 hussars, 5 skims, and minute men eventually got my strelets but I did get a pair of vils and kept him in his TC for over a minute and when his counterrush failed, I think I beat him to the third age. Normally, I lose to dutch players if they can get to the 5th age... so I managed to get both factories and his fort at the start of the 4th age while maxing out my vil pop (which PCups is so found of. Now, without my normal deck, I had no advanced arsenal, no infantry build speed, and no team instant infantry because all my second age cards were resources. Nevertheless, I set up a boat boom and when I imperialized my frigates and monitors, I blew him off the water and sent some galleons to make orps and get him. Damn dutch.
But the whole point of this is to tell you that I CAN PLAY AT PC!

Huh... I guess the game wasn't put on the ages community site but it DID count towards my skill level and supremacy points on ESO cuz I ended the night with a net gain. Weird. Any ideas?

I've noticed in your last couple of games that have lasted more than a half hour, you've come closer and closer to mazing out your pop (especially if you get couriers or set wagons). I'm very proud P_Cups. I looked at a no rush deck for an expert Russian player today, and he had 6... count them 6... mill/plantation upgrades. I could only see that being necessary in a 40-50 minute no rush where you have to collect thousands of each resource but that still seems pretty excessive. He had to sacrifice instant infantry, strelet combat, and cavalry combat to make it work! Damn noob. Well, it's off to jazz band, but if someone want to play tonight or tomorrow, reply to this.

Well ben i only build 65 peasants all together, this would be close to maxing out my pop, and it gets me all the resources i need and more. But yes ive gotten better about it. 45 regular peasants 40 pop in settler wagons + 10 for hte settler wagon upgrade. that gives me 95 peasants. Plus the 10 peasants that the factories give me. It all has a system.
