Ultimate dream patch
(I stole this from AoE community... let me know what you think)
Boosts
- 2 oguns shipment back to 3
- oguns x2 v HI
- oguns HP boost
- kanyas cheaper
- kanyas hp boost
- aztec +100 starting food
- skull knights and dog soldiers appear slightly faster
- cav archers have 30% ranged armour instead of melee
- cav archers range + LOS increased
- uhlans cheaper
- russian units train back to vanilla stats
- german shipments back to vanilla stats
- grenadiers increased range + LOS
- grenadiers animation/rof faster
- grenadiers attack increased
- grenadiers no longer 'heavyinfantry'
- 8 cacadores back to 9 cacadores
- early dragoons also makes ranged cav slightly cheaper permanently
- age 4 fort cards also increase fort attack
- house of braganca also increases trade income (ala silk road but not to that extent)
- crossbows attack greatly increased
- ports overall sexier
- ironclads hitpoints increased
- revolution shipments faster
Nerfs
- iro wc eagle eye attack decreased
- abus down to 20% ranged armour
- abus decreased attack
- rods siege and attack greatly decreased
- wardogs more expensive
- lancers hp decreased
- spanish 2 falcs turns into a 3 falcs card for age 4
- cetans no bonus vs HI
- spanish overall suckier
Other changes
- aztec smoking mirrors card no longer kills allies
- aztec tc no longer shoots cannon at ships - try a big rock or something instead.
- tommys no longer look like they're firing rifles as they throw axes
Not all of this is needed. Some of it would completely screw the game. But a lot of it is essential.
Though I think we still don't have the best grasp on the game. Some cards, like Advanced Scouts and National Unity - will likely not be nerfed and they are already potentially OP, just underused for cards of their strength. I also have a feeling Bow Riders will be used more often sometime. Lastly, French are so balanced it's unreal.
