If you thought the three man puma rush was hard to stop, imagine trying to stop it with only two people! Yes, Tim and I have nearly perfected the puma rush using only the Aztecs and the Dutch... two civs that really don't let themselves to rushing very well. The age-up time is nearly identical, and since the Aztecs now start with an extra 100 food, that means another peasant for me. Tim, meanwhile, never stops producing vills and slings me the initial food I need to age up and the gold at a suitable time. I get 16 pumas and 5 coyotes at 3:45 and enter their base around 4 minutes, very incovinient for them because they have just wasted all their food aging up and still wont have a barracks or stable... and they lose their tower if they try any of that shit and it just means more XP for me. I'm getting more shipments than I can use, so after I send 16 pumas, 5 coyotes, and 10 machs... I then can ship team 3 vills, 5 vills, and I never need to stop building vills either, and my firepit starts cranking shit out non-stop too! The first guy will fall with no resistance, and if I feel I can get the second guy, I will ASAP. Otherwise, I wait for Tim's grenadiers, and they get pwned just as quickly! At 6-8 minutes: DED.

why would you send 5 coyotes if you are in their base before they have any military units? To hunt down peasants i guess but i would just build more peasants.

Yes, the 5 cototes are a shipment, and I thought they would be more effective ar peasant hunting than 10 machs (my 3rd shipment). The coyote shipment usually arrives right as I enter their base so by the time the TC is done, they are already on their way to peasant killing.

Patrick, you are a fucking noob basher. You just played a game against a serget with a fucking 7% win as the Aztecs. He might have put up a fight, but he NEVER GOT TO AGE TWO! Unbelieveable. Bet you feel pretty good about yourself now.
"It seems i have only used my explorer in 119 games out of 200"
Two explanations: 1) You are a nub and don't know how to use it 2) You have used a war chief in the other 81 games

And ben, just to reiterate about the noob bashing, the guy was 7% had never won a game with the germans out of 58. And has only won 17 out of 233 games. I dont think he could have put up a fight.

Well, there's something to be said for 7%. It's still higher than Chris, Josh, D, and Tim in 1v1 supremacy games so you really can't blame him. I just honestly want to know -why he keeps playing when he doesn't know how to age up -how the fuck he became a sergent only winning 7%. He must have beat some REALLY good dudes -if D realizes that this guy is still ranked higher than him
Your explorer probably thinks that all those blode German chicks are hot... or maybe he's out crack-shooting Jews...
^_^
Germany still had loads of them at THIS point in history so why not?

I like mohawks... (is that still your phone pic?). Now that I'm thinking of it, they should have added the mohawks as a minor native civ. Research: Nifty haircut - makes males 100% more attractive and females 100% hornier; settler train time reduced by 50%. Super Hairgel - military units now can impale cavalry on hair; all melee +1 bonus vs. cav. Warrior: OV-1 Mohawk (fuck the slow-ass hot air balloon). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OV-1_Mohawk

2 Man Puma (Beta)
After losing a few two man pumas in recent times, Tim and I decided to see how we might improve the 2 man puma if possible. One opponent suggested Deccan/Carolina/Hispanola because of the extra starting resources. Earlier, Tim and I denied that idea because it meant that our opponents had minutemen and an earlier age up time, so we were prone to loss. But by changing OUR strategy a little but, we can actually make these types of maps the best puma rush ever.
Minimum Starting Resources: Ben - 600 food, 300 wood, 200 gold Tim - 300 food, 300 wood, 600 gold (I think)
First Minute: Ben sends a vill to forward base Ben builds 0 vills Ben collects his food Tim sends Ben 200 food immediately and starts building a vill Ben starts aging up at :25-:30 (Yes, seconds) Ben selects the 2 Skull Knight politician At :50 the villager starts building a war hut so that it is done building by 1:55-2:00 when I age Tim and Ben scout and treasure hunt
Second Minute: Tim builds a house and sends Ben the rest of his wood (may need to collect a little) Tim sends Ben 100 gold so he can have enough to finish his first batch of pumas Tim continues to collect gold (and a little food?) Tim never stops building vills! Ben builds houses so he has plenty of pop room when he ages Ben puts all his vills on food when he is done uncrating Ben queues two villagers (just like the old rush only starting at age 2 not 1)
Third Minute: Ben sets his gather point to the war hut immediately when it gets done and that vill gets wood Ben is always aged by 2:00 The two skull knights show up at the forward base Ben immediately starts building 2 puma batches at 2:00 to be done at 3:00 At 2:15, Ben gets his first shipment of 5 coyotes Tim sends Ben the remaining gold (and food necessary) At 2:50 (if resources allow), Ben does his 3 jag big button when his vills are done building
Fourth Minute: At 3:00 exactly, the coyotes, jags, and last pumas all show up at the FB simultaneously Ben leaves immediately for whichever opponent is closer/weaker This army is bigger, stronger, and 40 seconds earlier than the other rush Ben shows up in the enemy base at 3:15 with 10 pumas, 5 coyotes, 2 skulls, 3 jags, 2 explorers and an envoy (25 total pop!) The Dutch explorer and skulls take hits from the TC since the pumas die in 2 hits The coyotes are there as the rush begins for MM and vill killing duty The envoy looks for escapees! Ben sends 6 pumas or 10 mace as his second shipment only if things are going to be close. TC falls at 3:45-4:00
D.E.D.
Example: We played some captains who KNEW the rush was coming. I entered the Ottoman player's base at 3:20, and he was not aged up. He lost his minute men immediately. The only thing that saved him was that I did not see the Aztec player's war hut. Had I done so and killed it, the ottoman player would have had NOTHING to stop me since he was not aged. Even if he had aged and send 5 jans, the jags and skull knights would have raped them.
Advantages: +Earlier than the original by 40 seconds +10 pumas, 5 coyotes, 2 skulls, and 3 jags instead of 16 pumas (better unit countering ability) +Tim has a house and never stops building vills for a second +Tim never needs to send the food trickle or 300 gold shipment because my army has left my FB before that shipment even arrives! +The extra wood they get means more buildings and XP for Ben +Ben has more houses and pop space when the rush is over +Tim has a faster age up after the rush +Tim is in a better position to send more resources if Ben needs another 5 pumas +Carolina and Hispaniola have great boat boom potential
Disadvantages: -Opponents will almost always have minutemen (but I have coyotes) -The non-attacked player is generally in better shape after the rush (but so are we) -Ben must maintain enough of an army to ensure they don't counter attack quickly (10 mace shipment is always a plus)
