It also looks like the Flamethrower Jan rush is not meant to be. You can only build 1 flamethrower per batch and they are 4 pop. It might make a good FF combo with the Spanish though...

Oh... I was under the impression that they still "cost" something to produce because the batches were given a cost. Does the wonder work like a Factory then?

yep, you can get it at anytime too, 2nd age especially! What im really excited about is the fact that the indians have that wonder that can stop battles. Im really interested to see how that works. Because they get such a powerful army in the 3rd age!

Look at that ranged resistance. Look at the fact that it's a second age light infantry unit. The only negative about it seems to be the range or area (maybe there's a card to fix that. Meet the new OP Abus Guns folks.

its pretty expensive, so i bet it takes a long time to make (a little over 3 times what a musketeer would train). They have less hp than vanilla organ guns . I dont know, they do have that wonder that spawns them but pretty slowly i would assume. I dont think they would be as op as abus, since abus you could just train hordes of them. I cant see chinese getting more than 2 maybe 3 of these before 9 minutes.

Allying with the Russians reduces the vill train time from 25 to22.5 secs. Acupuncture reduces the time another 5 sec (17.5). However, inspite of what the card says, diplomatic intrique does nothing to the train time. Damn!

Tim, Josh, Nick and I tested it last night, and we think that the card gives 300 export and makes all relations cost less, not be more effective. Granted, we might be looking at the wrong card, but I think that's it as far as I know. The Chinese are still a good treat civ though... and Tim and I might start looking into a German Dutch strat now too.

The Chinese can do a teepee hop - kind of. The British consulate will ship 2 surgeons which can build 4 hospitals. They also get agents and petards shipments.

Tim and I already found an awesome duo in treat. Dutch and Chinese. Germans are just good all around Ben, I have played with many a civ and they all work awesome. The russians though are where it's at. The team infantry speed things basically insures you will have almost instant of everything. (Including uhlans which are god.)

Right... I don't think we should totally write off the Dutch in team treaty. With a Chinese or German ally, they can really rule with those 150 pop armies. In a game we played, Tim held off a Chinese and British army by himself (I only had 20 pop to help him) with the Dutch for almost 20 minutes. The advantage the Germans have is they can rebuild their villagers unlike the Chinese or the Iroquois who also get 119 vill pop. The German units rock too. I had a 2:1 kill ratio for the game even though I stayed at 120 vill pop. Rockin.

I think its a bit over kill to stay at that man villes ben . You get plenty of resources with 80 - 90
