aoe3.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/display.cgi?action=ct&f=1,33594,0,10 This is a unit comparison spread sheet that you can download. You need excel to use it though so i dont have it. Apparently it takes in all aspects of a unit: cost, build speed, attack, animation time etc. And you can compete them against other units. Cool huh?

www.aoe3clan.com/index.php?name=Downloads&get=5Seriously, if you have a half hour or so, DL this and check out the different sections. This is a huge summary of nearly everything in the game! Oh, and I'm up for a game tonight if you guys are interested and don't have much work. Maybe 9-10ish?

All these links are inspiring me to make what Jake and I were going to call a Delta Team III "Care Pack" that included links to everything: Cards, Units, ELO, ESO, Age Community, Ventrilo, Micro, Hamachi, the Crack, these spreadsheets, and anything else we can think of. As of now, they are spread throughout the forum, but we could easily get rid of all these threads and combine it all into one place for the ease of us and other people reading it. Also, if we could find or create a spreadsheet or document with different strategies (Sup and Treaty) for the various civs, that would be a huge help for those of us learning a new civ looking for some basic strats.

Please do! Also, you seem to be the best Indian, Spanish, and Port (sup anyway) too. I'd like to get one for everybody. Try to put it in the following format give or take (either writing paragraphs or lists):
SUP: Card List and the order to send them # of age up vills and politicians for various ages Buildings and when to build each Overview of Rush/Turtle strat Civ strength and weaknesses
TRT: Card List and the order to send them # of age up vills for various ages What techs to research and when How to balance the economy (food VS gold) when it gets maxed out Good unit combos for the attack FB strategies Civ strength and weaknesses
Once we make this formal enough for all of the civs, we can make a thread with the strats and sticky it at the top of each of the civ boards. All this would make our site a little better, and we could all look at and add ideas to each other's strats. Also, maybe each could do the following:
Tim - Dutch, Japs, Ports? Ben - Russians, Aztecs, Chinese Pat - German, Sioux, Indian, Spanish Jake - Brits, Dutch, Ports? D - Ottos, Ports? Nick - Ottos, Japs? Still Missing - French, Iroquois

Yea this sounds pretty cool. I like the Idea of different people doing the same civ so it gives a little variation on the strategies.

Yeah, and that way it'll be easier for us or lurkers of this site to learn a new civ quickly without just trial and error. If I have time tonight, I might make one for the Russians as sort of a model not that it has to be limited to any one format.

I hate to say it, but you may want to look into getting a Facebook. It would make staying in touch with everyone in this area infinitely easier, and you can upload unlimited pictures of your goats, although you'd need to clarify which ones are the goats and which ones are of you.
Another option would be making a "blog" of some kind... a lot like this forum only you could personalize it to be just about your goats for example.

it's true mr. lannin. actually i assumed that nobody checked this anymore and was hoping that "ottomans forever" would be the last post ever because well... everyone knows how good ottos are in late-game.
you COULD make a blog, but having your own site and domain would look a lot cooler. either way you should get a facebook.
ottomans forever.
