Yea, I read this article and I was pretty happy. By the way, my computer's graphics card shit the bed and is no longer usable. I gotta send it in to Asus and get a new one, maybe a better one. But no ages parties for me this vacation

Or, you could say, "Don't juggle your balls with little kids around."
Sorry about your computer Pcups. Who has cleaned out their heat sinks and uses a cooling pad? All ASUS users?

By the way, doyou guys have any suggestions for a cooling pad?
Oh, and I'm pretty sure I have carpel tunnel in my right wrist. This sucks!
Never mind, I just looked at a fact sheet for carpal tunnel and I clearly don't have it. Just a sprained wrist I guess.

Hey Tim, have you heard of this plant? Jatropha oil is significantly cheaper than crude oil. It could cost an estimated $43 a barrel.

Jatropha is to switchgrass as soy is to corn. Jathropa certainly is better than soy because it has a higher yield per acre, doesn't require fertilizers, and doesn't require fresh water. It slows desertification and resists erosion. So I guess it's OK. The yield per acre, however, is nowhere near what algae can do. To put this into perspective, the closed-circuit algae systems can produce 33,000 gallons of oil per acre per year. Jatropha can do 202 gallons per acre per year, and soy can only do 48. journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_yield.html

Hey D, Detroit may not be the next pit of hell thanks to the Democrats not letting the auto industries die like they should, but Obama isn't being nice to the Big 3 either!
"Part of what I’m hoping to introduce as the next president is a new ethic of responsibility, where we say that, if you’re laying off workers, the least you can do when you’re making $25 million a year is give up some of your compensation and some of your bonuses, figure out ways in which workers maybe have to take a haircut, but they can still keep their jobs, they can still keep their health care, and they can still stay in their homes."
He also said, which is fucking awesome:
“If this management team that’s currently in place doesn’t understand the urgency of the situation and is not willing to make tough choices and adapt to new circumstances,” he said, “then they should go.”

Agreed. America used to be the world leader far and away in producing cars, but thanks to the current management of all three companies we can kiss our comparative advantage away forever. It would take 20 years of intense innovation to put America back on top. It's important to note, however, that Toyota and the others have each seen sales drop by 35-50% in 2008, so it's no surprise that they would have liked to see the big three go.
In other news, Tim and I played a sup and a treaty yesterday, and realized that treaty is really our thing. The game was no recorded because of a OOS error that our opt. caused when his ally resigned, but the games really gave me a hankering for some Ages when we get home. I was thinking of setting up the first LAN party sometime between Wed the 17th and Friday the 19th based on what works for you guys. What do you think? Also, where should we have it? We now have three options!
